Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the time of 14. After her kickboxing and boxing lessons, wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd continued to build on the victory she scored during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought for three straight wins. She knocked out all her opponents during the opening round. In the following fight, she was back at WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia beat Aspen and defeated her by the unanimous decision, which put a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd returned from her defeat through defeat of Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, increasing her record to 8-1. Aspen made her debut with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her professional career. Invicta 11 saw her slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Invicta Fc 16 was her first fight in the Bantamweight division. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar submission during the second round. Aspen employed her impressive wrestling skills to take down McGill before ending her bout with the third round TKO(elbows as well as punches). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd fell short of weight. Aspen was a dominant Hoy and defeated her at the end of round two via TKO. It was Invicta's FC 21 that she fought her final bout for the organization. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 in the fight against Lina Lansberg. Aspen Ladd defeated Lina via a fight that was a foot and pound victory during the second round. In her second fight, she was able to defeat Tonya Evinger with a more stunning victory. Ladd beat Evinger within the first minute she was awarded a bonus to commemorate her performance of the evening. Her first major fight at an UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Avs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Both fighters put up an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd beating her opponent by a unanimous vote with both fighters claiming an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her streak of winning. After a quick break after which she returned to beat Yana Kunizkaya in UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute in her most recent fight with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. The UFC Fight Night 195 fight was decided unanimously in her favor.
