Keesha Sharp
Her appearance is also in Tyler Perry's cult film, Why Did I Get Married? Alongside Perry and Janet Jackson as well as Indie films Frozen Peas, and Born Guilty. Also, she has appeared in Shattered! Never Die Alone as well as American Adobo. Following her graduation from Cum Laude with a B.F.A. Keesha was able to begin her career on stage after graduating from the Cum Laude Conservatory with an B.F.A. The show she was in included the Broadway National Tour of Carousel as well as debuted Off Broadway on stage in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. She also played 8 roles in the comedy Eat the Runt. The other theatre productions include Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Keesha read along with playwright August Wilson himself. As well as her performance both on stage and screen, Keesha directed episodes of "Lethal Weapon", "Are We There Yet" and the short films One Day, Lillian and Half Off. Keesha is also the co-creator of Clean, The Brit & Broken Doll as well as having a number of additional original projects in the work. The singer is at present working on her debut full-length project following her smash album "Santa Baby."
